Hi everyone,

I wanted to do a bit of a wrapup for Five Minute React. It’s been a long time since the series started … I honestly expected it to be half as long as it ended up being. Turns out there’s a lot to cover when it comes to building your own API and wiring up a complex front-end to it! Who knew?

If you’ve stuck with me all the way, or for that matter even if you came in at the middle, or have just used the tutorials piecemeal to learn things … thanks! I’ve really enjoyed hearing the feedback and helping people with support issues.

I learned a lot from writing and recording this tutorial series, and I’m going to be applying all of those lessons to make my future tutorials even better. Speaking of future tutorials, I’m currently looking into both Vue.js and React Native, and hope to do short series on both of them in the near future.

That’s about all I’ve got. If you’d like to stay up to date on new tutorials and also get handy JavaScript tips and mini-tutorials in your inbox every Friday, I recommend signing up for my email list, which you can do over in the sidebar. I’ve also put together an elegant, single-page cheat sheet for Express.js, available in both print and screen resolutions, which you can learn more about at this dedicated page. You can also always follow @closebracejs on Twitter.

Thanks again for your support, and I’ll be back soon with great new stuff!
